Part one
Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Personally Said is a brand of Waymaker Studios LLC, a Texas limited liability company. In these terms, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Waymaker Studios LLC, doing business as Personally Said. “You” means anyone who buys a card, contributes a message or opens a card.
By placing an order, contributing a message or using personallysaid.co, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
2. How Personally Said works
- The purchaser chooses a card design + a runtime tier, then checks out on personallysaid.co.
- We issue a card code. The purchaser shares that code + our toll-free number, 855-763-7701, with friends and family.
- Contributors call or text in their messages using the code.
- We clean + level the audio, combine the messages and build the card, with captions where available.
- We deliver a private card link. The card may include a download of the finished audio.
Runtime tiers set how much total audio fits in a card. We work to deliver cards promptly, but timing depends on when contributors submit their messages + on factors outside our control.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 to buy a card. Personally Said is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you invite someone under 18 to contribute, you are responsible for getting a parent or guardian’s permission first.
4. Pricing + payment
Prices are in US dollars and shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Applicable sales tax is added at checkout.
Each tier includes a set amount of recorded time. If contributors go over that time, we may offer add-on minutes, and we’ll tell you before charging you for them. Premium card designs are sold as add-ons and priced separately.
5. Refunds
Every card is custom made, so we can’t offer refunds once we’ve started building it. Before we start, you can cancel for a full refund.
If something goes wrong on our end, such as a technical error or a card that can’t be delivered, we’ll make it right with a fix or a refund. Reach out as soon as you spot an issue so we can help.
6. Messages + ownership
Contributors keep ownership of their messages. When you send a message, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, clean up, trim, transcribe, combine and host it, and to deliver it to the purchaser and recipient as part of a card. Photos or text a purchaser provides for a card stay theirs, and the same permission applies so we can make that card.
The purchaser and recipient may keep, play + share the finished card for personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t resell it, publish it commercially or use it to promote anything without permission from everyone who contributed.
You promise that you have the right to share what you submit and that it doesn’t break anyone else’s rights or the law.
7. Recording + consent
Calls and texts to Personally Said are recorded. Each caller hears a notice at the start of the call that the message is being recorded for a greeting card and may be heard by anyone the card is shared with. Callers under 18 are asked to get a parent or guardian’s permission before continuing. By entering a card code on a call or sending a text, contributors agree to these terms, including that recording and sharing.
Purchasers agree to let the people they invite know how their message will be used before they contribute.
8. Content rules
Please don’t submit anything that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or deceptive, or that shares someone’s private information without their permission. Don’t impersonate others, and don’t use the service to spam.
We may remove or decline any message or order that breaks these rules or that we reasonably believe could cause harm, and we may refuse service to anyone. If we decline an order before delivery, we’ll refund it.
9. Text messaging
Contributors may text a message to our toll-free number. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency depends on your activity. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10. Our brand + site
Personally Said™, the website, card designs, templates and site content belong to Waymaker Studios LLC or its licensors. You may use them to order + enjoy your card. Please don’t copy, resell or reuse them otherwise without written permission.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard to make every card great, but we can’t guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error free, that every message will be received or that a card will play on every device or browser. Audio quality depends partly on how and where contributors record.
12. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Waymaker Studios LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Personally Said. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the card the claim relates to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
13. Your responsibility
To the extent the law allows, you are responsible for claims that come from content you submit or from use of the service that breaks these terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by Texas law, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Before filing anything, please contact us so we can try to work it out.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates apply going forward and the effective date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use Personally Said after an update means you accept it.

3. Voice recordings
Recordings are used to build the card they were made for. We clean + level the audio, transcribe it for captions and combine it with the other messages.
We don’t sell recordings, use them for advertising or create voiceprints to identify anyone. We don’t use them to train our own AI models. The finished card includes the voices of everyone who contributed, and we don’t display contributors’ phone numbers on it.
4. Who we share it with
- The purchaser + recipient: They receive the finished card, which includes contributors’ voices and any name or sign-off shared.

We don’t sell personal information.
5. How long we keep it
We keep cards, recordings + related information for as long as we need to deliver the card, keep it available to the recipient and handle support or disputes. After that we delete or de-identify it. Order + payment records may be kept longer for tax and legal reasons. You can ask us to delete a card or message sooner.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we have, correct it, delete it or remove a specific voice message. Contributors can ask us to remove their message from a card. Send requests using the contact details below. We may need to verify who you are, and we’ll respond within 45 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, and we’ll honor valid requests under applicable law. To stop texts, reply STOP.

We use reasonable technical + organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No online service is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Personally Said is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We’ll post updates here and change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll make it easy to notice.
